The Company


STEFAL has been operating in the electrical wiring and electromechanics assembly industry since 1978 within different market sectors: home coffee and espresso machines for large-scale retail trade, espresso machines for coffee shops, vending machines, small home appliances, automotive and industrial electronics components, and automatic machines.

The flexibility and dynamism that set this company apart, have allowed for its constant growth over the years. Its profits rose from 2 million euro in 2002 to 10 million euro in 2012. Today Stefal has approximately 50 people staffing its Italian home office in the town of San Giovanni in Persiceto, located in the Bologna province; together with another 170 people working in its manufacturing plant in Hammamet, Tunisia.

Stefal’s reliability has also been recognized abroad, as confirmed by the longterm upturn registered in its export volumes, currently accounting for 30{ceaff21940f1e7a94f3a5897c6ad5c6c46c0d4dd8a190bad67a29a03c88b1781} of sales and destined to rise.

Stefal acts in partnership with each of its client companies, offering support in all phases of production. The technical office is able to plan and develop any type of wiring, whether in direct collaboration with the client or working completely on its own. This is always done in full respect of all the legal norms pertaining to each different sector.

From product conception to assembly, including the engineering of the process, the purchase of components, and the creation of prototypes and pre-production samples, Stefal brings into play its more than thirty years of experience in the sector, along with a young, enthusiastic, and highly motivated team of workers.

Stefal staff members, all highly qualified people, stand at the heart of the company. Thanks to frequent cutting-edge training courses and a pro-active mentality, they work on a day-to-day basis to improve the company’s products and services.
